Our Services
WELLNESS EXAMS
Northshore Mobile Veterinary Services offers comprehensive examinations that help evaluate the overall health of your pet. Regular physical examinations can detect problems in their early stages, before they become serious illnesses requiring prolonged treatment. Preventative medicine is the easiest, least expensive and most important way to keep your pet healthy. Early detection ensures prompt action that may solve the problem before serious consequences occur.

VACCINATIONS
Immunizations are a crucial part of your pet's health care. Most immunizations are recommended yearly. Usually administered during an annual exam, we work with you to develop an individual vaccine protocol that best suits your pet's needs.

LAB WORK
We offer a variety of tests for the health of your pet. Some of these include heartworm testing, fecal testing, and complete blood work and urinalysis. We can also perform the required periodic blood tests needed for patients on medications for conditions such as diabetes (Fructosamine levels) and seizure patients (Phenobarbital levels).

EUTHANASIA
At no point during our relationship with our pet can we anticipate the sadness, confusion, and desperation we feel when it comes time to let them pass. We are here to support you and your family during this time of transition. We are able to answer any questions you may have about their quality of life, palliative or hospice care options available, or expectations and anticipation of their death. We feel that a collaborative approach to ensuring your pet’s comfort and preserving their dignity is best; working together, we can determine the best way to say goodbye. Let us help you enjoy your final days together and making saying goodbye as peaceful as possible.

URGENT CARE
We are equipped to handle many different types of urgent care needs, such as lacerations, dog bites, vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, seizures, poisoning, shock, low blood sugar (common in toy breed puppies), and others. We can provide fluid therapy, IV medications, and pain management as well as many other treatments in your home. We are available for injured or ill animals during our business hours and we work with overnight care facilities in the area to provide 24 hour care as needed.

MICROCHIPPING
Microchip placement is recommended during your puppy's first visit, at the time of spay or neuter, or as needed when older. If your pet is lost or stolen, then this identification number can be tracked back to the original owner.

NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
Proper diet is an important part of your pet's health. Should your pet need a new diet due to health concerns or you are just looking for a healthy alternative to your current brand, we offer individual consultations and nutritional plans to help keep your pet healthy.
